At this point much of NDIIPP is focused on maintaining more “traditional” media in an online versions. This includes online video and audio files as well as written material such as blogs or online journals. Preserving Virtual Worlds is the only major game based preservation effort visible on their web site out of the 130 preservation partners the group has, and the library catalog does not include any information about Nintendo World Championships. NDIIPP does sponsor regular meetings with its partners, but the amount of fiscal support given to game preservation specifically is unclear.
