We've gotten in touch with several other members of the game preservation community and have interviews for today and tomorrow.
Here are a few of the ideas we've been considering during the interviews:
- Why preserve games?
- Is it even possible to preserve an experience like gaming (discuss mmorpg's, can you re-create the sense of community? is that necessary?)
- What are current preservation efforts?
- what are the different approaches they use/which appear to be most successful?
- Moving forward, how should we treat game preservation?
